Larke Peak Climbing in the Manaslu region is a newly opened adventure for trekkers, offering a pristine natural paradise with breathtaking landscapes. The area remains largely untouched, giving visitors a true experience of Nepal’s raw beauty. Along the way, the rich cultures and traditions of the Tamang and Sherpa communities add a fascinating and memorable dimension to the journey.
The trek begins from Gorkha, crosses the challenging Larke Pass (5,420 m), and concludes in Besisahar. Exploring the Manaslu region provides a unique opportunity to visit one of Nepal’s least-traveled areas. Since its opening to travelers in 1991, Manaslu trekking has offered spectacular views along the Nepal-Tibet border. Because this region sees fewer visitors, the experience feels more exclusive and adventurous. Organized treks and special permits are required to enter, ensuring a safe and well-managed journey.
